About Me
Xing Gao
Originally from Beijing, China, I moved to the U.S. in 2011 to pursue a Master's degree in accounting at the George Washington University. While at GW, I worked in the accounting and finance department of a nonprofit. After graduation, I ran the accounting department of a small government contractor in Washington, D.C. And later, I worked for Bloomberg for six years, conducting tax and accounting policy research.

For more than 10 years I volunteered for the D.C. Earned Income Tax Credit Campaign and the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, filing taxes for the underprivileged and small business owners.

In 2018, with the goal of starting my own practice one day, I decided to go back to business school to earn an MBA at Georgetown University.

I launched my own practice in 2020 to help individuals and small businesses with their tax filing obligations, financial reporting, and strategic development. What I find most fulfilling through this experience is the opportunity to build genuine, personal connections with my clients, going beyond just a professional relationship and creating a sense of trust and understanding.
